The power cord is too short. We bought this to replace Oreck, and its power cord is long enough that we only need to move it to another socket once. Now we have to move it twice to vacuum the living room/dining room, and then move it twice again to vacuum all three bedrooms< 2. There are no headlights. We sometimes vacuum in the dark, so we may purchase a Dollar Tree battery powered light and stick it in front. This is not a big issue as headlights may cause a price increase of over $1.25< 3. The motor emits a very high pitched whistling sound, which can be alleviated by using noise cancelling headphones< Overall, this price is very cost-effective.

    Most of our house has hard floors, but we just installed carpets in two rooms and they got very dirty after installation. We once owned an Electrolux can vacuum cleaner worth $700 that could last for 20 years, so we were hesitant about investing in a plastic vacuum cleaner. We bought it at a discounted price and are pleased that it shows such strong pickup ability on the carpet, at least on the first use. Only cleaning the carpets in two rooms, the transparent plastic container is more than half full, so the vacuum cleaner is working. Our only complaint so far is that it’s not easy to open the trash can. But this may be a good thing, because another option could be that the trash can opens too easily when we don’t want it to, causing garbage to spill over our house. We don’t care about stretchable wires (which feel good but are not as important as durability and suction) or noise (which everyone in the house must deal with if we want to clean). If this vacuum cleaner continues to work for at least a year like it does now, we will upgrade our 4-star review to a 5-star review.

    I have tried several other brands, and the “shag” setting of this NEU181D is indeed effective. After several times, the carpet became cleaner, and I hope the next vacuuming will be easier and faster. It sounds like it’s coming from an electric motor. I have tried all the problem-solving ideas that can be found online. No help at all. I called the Eureka Help Line. They have no value at all. The adjustment of hard floors and carpets is also very poor. On a hard floor, the brush will touch the floor. To vacuum any carpet, you must change it to the highest setting, otherwise it will eat up the carpet. Adjusting the position of the knob is very inconvenient. You must stop vacuuming, place it in a standing position, bend over and turn it. It should be a foot pedal< After using it for a while, my ears started buzzing. I have no choice but to return the item and try a different brand.

    I know this is not a rotary steering, but there is a defect in the steering wheel/operating system. I have hardwood with carpet that refuses to be pushed in certain directions, my guess is opposite to the texture woven on the carpet. The hose is very short and inflexible, so you cannot actually do anything beyond one arm’s distance.     Rly, like the new Eureka, is amazed by its ability to clean carpets and remove deep dirt from them until you see it in the jar and realize it. However, it has an incredible loud squeaking sound, which American customer support personnel say is normal. Nonsense, listening to this high pitched noise is a bit annoying. There is no call center phone number in the United States All offshore (Eureka has no reason not to correct the noise issue… Call the service center, the loud bell is that the motor bearing is broken. The guy at @ scc center said Eureka is no longer like it was a few years ago. There are cheaper parts, why the motor is not durable is regrettable, I think it will be returned to AMZN for some kind of adjustment.).

    I bought this because the price is cheap, but I still believe that the quality of Eureka is very high. no It is very light and has almost no functionality. The hose must be moved from the base to the vacuum cleaner, and the air exhaust port is located in front of the vacuum cleaner. When you try to clean, it will blow dust everywhere.     I think there is a missing piece because the suction hoe in the later cycle keeps separating due to being too short (during use). In order to reach the bottom suction end, I must fully extend the spiral hoe to reach its maximum capacity. This spiral hoe is essential for the functionality of a vacuum cleaner. I am confused why this is overlooked in the design of vacuum cleaners. I checked other vacuum cleaners of the same brand and found that the spiral hoe is not as short as this one. I feel how short it is, how much I have to stretch it. It’s just a matter of time before it tears apart. Considering the low production cost and poor quality of this main piece, I don’t feel comfortable keeping it< I also tried using a vacuum cleaner to clean the stairs and encountered the same problem. The spiral hoe is extremely short and cannot vacuum the stairs. Put it next to me, the motor exhaust pipe is right next to my face because the hoe is too short. The terrible product is too disappointing.

    The best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. I bought this with the help of the butler. I am not sure about this product because I have never heard of this brand. Considering the price and recognition of the house, I bought it< Boy, can this baby suck! I have three dogs with severe hair loss and one cat. I have never seen so much hair grow out before. Highly recommended for pet families. It is super light, with excellent accessories and powerful functions, and has a high cost performance ratio.

    Just empty the trash can to ensure it’s empty. Clean and dry the filter. Placed on a bare floor, sucking up hair and dust… then found that 90% of the hair and dust were blown away by the vacuum cleaner instead of being sucked away. I also have a multi-layer carpet that I have to walk over and over again to make this thing pick up anything. I often use the power nozzle attachment to move around and retrieve everything that the main vacuum cleaner/drum has not picked up. Cannot recommend.

    I just received this, and after a simple assembly – I have to say wow – this thing works well. Of course – it has an annoying chord. But it felt heavy and immediately absorbed a lot from my hardwood and carpet! I never have to worry about charging, that’s what I like. It comes with some attachments, which is also great. I hope it can continue, but so far I really like it. Definitely worth this money!!
