If you purchase it for young children, it may withstand a considerable amount of play, but if someone becomes too rough or steps on it, it may have plastic bends/dents< This is a good size, but not too long – as a reference, my daughter (as a harvester in the comment) happens to be 5 feet tall, and the sickle size is perfect for her to carry around without hindering too much. We are satisfied with our purchase.
