Luna Eugenia –
As early as October 2020, I purchased two of them for my home. I have no problem installing them, although as others have pointed out, the instructions are very poor. I have installed several pet doors before, so I have a good understanding of what I am doing. If this helps you understand the installation< It has been over a year now, and the door continues to swing and function well like a simple door, but there are two key issues with this door that may or may not affect you< Firstly, there is a lock. I don't usually lock my three kittens outside, but occasionally I need to lock them in the basement or upstairs (one of the doors is inside my basement door) if I'm doing something, such as delivering things to a place where the outside door is open for a long time. Okay, the lock is effective because it can lock the door, but it doesn't feel very sturdy. If your cat has claws, they will unlock it! The lock has grooves designed to help you grip them while sliding, but this is also the perfect grip for the small claws. I have seen two of my three cats unlock one side. Not at all reliable< In addition, the weather strip is a poorly bonded, furry strip that has little effect as a weather seal and can fall off within a few months. At first, I thought one of my cats had pulled it down from one side, so I checked the other door. No, they're hardly there< If you just want a door that allows you to never need to lock and you don't care about hot/cold passages, are these all important? So this door is a dignified and affordable one. Otherwise, please look for something better.
Howard Queenie –
The price is reasonable, and if you have the right tools at hand, installation is not difficult. Magnets can prevent the door from swinging too much, but it took my 4-month-old kitten some time to figure it out.
Majestic Trina –
Our old plywood cat door is a good substitute. Well built.
Rowena Lara –
Easy to install, but the door will not close backwards. It confused my cat with half open and first disrupted the purpose of the door. If it’s just my door missing a component or each door, that would be great
Nadine Richard –
Price discount, superior quality, even better than opening the door!
Quinella Leah –
Locking tags is very fragile, sometimes when my cat uses them, the tags will slide and lock. Then the tag will not clear the flaps and often causes hard bumps. This also made it difficult for my cat to push, and he eventually thought it was locked. The magnet is also a bit too strong< I got a super large size, the flip is too heavy, it always hits my cat's tail I hope there is a way to slow down its closing speed.
Delightful Gregory –
This door is fine. If you have a flat door, installation is very easy, but if there are designs or dents on the door, you will have to make some modifications. However, the worst part of this door is the locking mechanism. This mechanism is located in the middle of the entrance, so every time the cat passes through it, they will kick it. If there is some tension on the mechanical device, it will not be a problem, but they can easily slide, so cats are often locked in the litter box room because the mechanical device is kicked and slid over, and the door is not allowed to swing back. In short, this door has only been open for about 3 months, but it will be replaced soon.
Valiant Life –
We purchased this for our oversized cat. It is quite easy to install and works in the first few days, but setting it up is always tricky. Soon, it started working only to prevent things from entering the garage, which was good, but it went out and couldn’t return to the garage. Now, he is trying to push it forward. Total garbage.
Beata Harley –
In one direction, sometimes the door may get stuck and the magnet will not start from the flip.
Meadow Egan –
Cheap garbage. They won’t lock in. Animals can forcibly pass through.
Nessia Thalia –
I don’t wake up 50 times a day. Let my cat go out. The cat likes it to come and go, and I can reach where she can only go out. She can’t come in, and vice versa. Or I can lock its very, very beautiful cat door
Esmeralda Briana –
This project will be thrown directly into the trash can. Cats cannot come back from outside the door because they stick to one side to prevent the door from swinging backwards. Human beings need some strength. The lock blocks the door itself. I can’t imagine any animal that can pass through a door being strong enough to open it. The plastic on the door also seems to be warped.
Commander Zera –
This is a pretty good product, my only complaint is that the lining on the inside of the transparent door has come off. I’m not sure if it hasn’t been glued properly or if the adhesive is not strong enough, but we only used it for two weeks and it has come off. The locking mechanism is good, but I haven’t tried it yet because the piece has become loose and beaten.
Sirena Elmer –
I can barely accept it. The quality is questionable. Except for cats, the lock system is not enough. A piece (weight) fell off during installation. Our cat is more receptive to soft flaps. This is a hard door.
Donald Maria –
The weather strip fell off early on. The cat (2 kittens) quickly figured out how to open the door, go outside, and then lock themselves outside the house. Fortunately, my cat nanny arrived a few days after my vacation and allowed them to come in to eat food and use the litter box< The magnet has fallen off, and currently I am trying to fix it with gorilla glue. Abandoned the lock< It still allows cats in and out of the house, living in Georgia, and the loss of the weather strip did not kill my heating expenses, but apart from staying on the hinge, I have to say my rating is generous with 3 stars< Looking for a slightly larger one to accommodate my new wife's 2 puppies being added to the family, so I will check other brands/designs. How difficult is it to make a decent pet door?
Scarlett Jillian –
The door is stiff when opened and closed, and will get stuck when unlocked, making it unable to close properly. The lining between the flaps and the frame began to crumble. Don’t waste money on this poorly designed cat door. If possible, we will give it 0 stars.
Keely Blessed –
It only took a few times for the cat to flip the lid and let them do it themselves. The gate is great!
Just Bess –
After minor modifications were made to my unique application (filling the damaged space of the bay window), the cat door entered smoothly. All my little cats quickly figured it out. Locked on the weak side, the boys only push the cart through it. Oh, well, I think there’s a reason why cats don’t have time to close/lock doors!
Happy Lucy –
I bought this as a new one, it shows as used. They were all scratched, there were claw marks on the door, and all the installation hardware was missing.
Lambert Rose –
The best cat/pet door I have ever installed. Magnets fixing the door in the airflow can make cats a bit accustomed, but it can save heat loss. I have one on the wooden cabinet to prevent dogs from eating cat food as well. I may replace one door with another (this door is not deep enough). The fitted plastic collar can protect them from getting stuck with both feet.
Prosperous Wyman –
Use it to turn an excavated house into an outdoor cat house. Dogs cannot eat cat food! I work very well.
Kenway Holly –
I set my settings to remain locked so that one cat cannot enter (by sliding the red cat to the left), while allowing my other cat to exit. After countless scratching attempts to enter my cat, I was able to somehow move the red lever from left to right and enter. The red color was not tightly locked, so she couldn’t make it move in the end. In addition, the design is also good, but it is very confusing to figure out which direction the door must face in order to remain closed, and some charts are not very detailed. Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with this product and will have to find something more fragile.
Winston Quimby –
This door can be locked in a certain functional position, for example, it can only open in one direction (either side), the lock is closed, or it can only open in both directions, which makes me very excited. I have a special reason to lock it up, it can only be opened in one direction, so my cat can always enter, but cannot leave unless I let it out. The effect was very good in a few weeks Then my cat challenged it and charged in the wrong direction. Since there are no additional doors in this kit, I now have to block the door with a heavy object, so my cat won’t keep going out without my knowledge. I’m so disappointed!!!!!
Peyton Erskine –
Very easy to install. The only problem is that the weather strip fell off from one side within a few days.
Steadfast Abigail –
Used for indoor doors, no need to lock. The small tag on the lock can swing freely, but the magnet can securely hold the door in place and requires considerable force to open. Both cats can use it, but you can still try removing the magnet to make it swing more freely
Drake Ian –
The function of the door lock is described above, but it is a bit difficult to push open. We eventually filed off the label a little bit to make it easier to open. We have been installing it for over a week and are still working hard to train our cat to use it. The cat is 5 years old this year, and this is the first time we have a cat door, so he is learning a bit slowly.
Ebenezer Nursing –
The product is easy to install, but< One of the locks occasionally slips and accidentally locks the door< I had to re stick the furry strip on the side of the door to make it "weather resistant". It fell off, making it difficult for my little ones to open the door< Will I make another purchase Oh, yes, maybe.
Des Island –
This thing doesn’t work. My cat cleverly removed the lock within three hours. There is enough space for them to grab the claws from the side and forcefully open them. Don’t waste your money or believe in this matter.
Wonderful David –
After a long struggle and multiple visits to Home Depot to obtain sturdy screws, the door was finally installed. I have two small and medium-sized cats. I bought the largest door just in case. On the second day after installation, the cat was inside the door, which was completely locked. I realized they could unlock it and come in. After experiencing all these troubles, the door looks very cheap and dysfunctional. In addition, the seller did not respond when attempting to communicate with them.
Teresa Lorelei –
The rigid “door” on this device is stuck on the sliding lock mechanism and does not allow my cat to freely pass through. I hope to enter and exit. I must forcefully open it with my hands. It’s a bit against the purpose. I won’t buy again. Not recommended. ??
Luna Jeffrey –
After installation, the overall quality of this cat door is very good. It’s great for my pet, and the lock/unlock mechanism is also great< However, I have to say that the instructions for installing this cat door are a bit poor. I know there may be some differences in installation depending on the structure of the door, but a brief explanation of where to use which type of screw would be helpful. In fact, I mainly use existing screws to make it, because for my simple and standard hollow inner door, the length is either too short or too long.
White Francesca –
This has no hollow pattern, you must make it yourself. Most doors are tightened from one side and pulled in on the other side using a set of bolts with nuts. There are screws on both sides of this. After installation, it will work for a short period of time and then begin to warp as the temperature changes between the house and the garage. When it’s cold outside and all the locks are open, the door won’t swing freely and it will hit the bottom heavily. Now the magnet will pop out when it hits. In addition, the red lock only moves on its own, so when you think it allows animals to come in, it actually locks them out and won’t stay in place. I like large sizes, but they are very powerful.
Geraldine Spencer –
The door seems to be a bit off center, so one side is stuck and my cat cannot easily push open. I even removed the lock to see if it would swing more easily without it, but it still doesn’t fit well
Ivar Neal –
I bought this product because I have a cat that likes to wander on my porch. He likes to go out all day and night, while my father sleeps in the living room due to health reasons and cannot sleep well at night because the cat wakes him up and asks him to go out< After I bought this, it was immediately installed. Dripping is easy, but it takes about two days for my cat to get used to it. After those two days, he began to enter and exit freely. Now it's completely uninterrupted, and we've also noticed that he likes to use it as a window so he can see what's happening on the porch or inside the house< Overall, my cat seems to really like it, so 10/10.
Jade Ryan –
Cat door, used for 2-pound cats on a 20 inch thick folding door.
Kerwin Mary –
The door is easy to install and has a great effect. The only drawback is the magnet locking function. Its strength It depends on where you are. Having a door could be a good thing. However, this is indoors and our cat cannot push it open on its own, so we completely removed the lock. Now it works very well for them.
Godfrey Felix –
The beautiful wide outer wheels covered the small mistake we made when cutting open 11/2 doors.
Imogen Genevieve –
The use of doors is very challenging, unless you cut a hole larger than the frame on the door.
Quincy Estra –
We have been doing well for two years now. We need to replace it with a cat that is suitable for our Garfield cat ratio. Lock Sigh. I pulled them down because they often hinder the swing of the cat door. Without them, they are easy to swing, but they are well protected from wind and rain.
Erik Tracy –
Cats are easy to enter and exit. Both sides of the door can be locked.
Nimble Bella –
The pet door on looks very beautiful and seems to be exactly what we want The reality is that it is relatively easy to install, but the design and manufacturing of the product are poor< The insulation layer of the door falls off after a week, and in a cool climate, it is of no value to the outside door< The door latch/locking mechanism is an engineering malfunction that requires special knees to lock the door. Similarly, if this is an external door, this type of latch failure will prevent the product from ensuring the safety of your pet< If I knew what this door would turn into after installation, I would never buy it< My suggestion is to continue searching for high-quality pet doors. This is not a high-quality product.
Pandora Gift-Brave –
The door is not easy to open, so cats won’t use it. The locking mechanism is poorly made.
Gwendolyn Delilah –
Either the lock is broken, or my cat is Superman. I locked it inside and not outside. Then he turned around and left. Push hard, even if locked, you can still go out. Very disappointed.
Ethen Arleen –
The locking mechanism works very well. I took out the magnets on the flaps because they were too strong. I installed it on the gypsum board. Will purchase again!
Pandora Liza –
Please ignore my previous 2-star review. It’s another project, another seller< This door is very suitable for the cabinet that I transformed into a litter box. Although the depth is ordinary for a door, I have no problem fixing it to the side of a cheap IKEA cabinet< Exquisitely crafted, sturdy and durable.
Cunning Ruth –
Even if the door is completely locked in both directions, my cat can still push it open in the corner and go out.
Seymour Peaceful –
The installation is very easy and the effect is very good, and it took some time for the hard plastic door to get the cat used to it. But overall, this price is a good product.
Servant Godly –
I like this door! Perfect for my dog! Perfect size!
Deirdre Bernice –
I installed the door in a hole on the wall, which was left for my cat during our last renovation. It works very well, but teaching him how to use it is very complicated. I think this has already entered every cat because I was a bit scared at first.
Davida Muriel –
Great product! Very easy to install, the cat quickly got used to it. The effect is very good, I have been persisting for a year now! We install it in indoor rooms to reduce the odor in the home. A++
Ferris Trixie –
We have an oversized cat, so this oversized cat door is a good choice. I have two doors like this, one leading to the garage and the other leading to the outdoor cat seat. The only challenge we encountered was that the locking mechanism was triggered once, so our cat was locked in the house and unable to enter the litter box from the garage. I opened the locks on both of the doors I owned, so they wouldn’t accidentally lock again. If you plan to place the lock in the locked position, you may be fine, but if you want the door to swing freely in both directions, I suggest you pry open the lock slider.
Udolf Wolf –
This cat door is perfect! Big enough, both of my cats can pass through, easy to install, looks great! My only hope is whether the magnet can come off. My cat doesn’t like to push doors
Diane Thora –
Very easy to install. Allow my cat to come and go in the garage, while we are in the garage. They chased each other, passing through the house into the garage until they reached the rafters, and then through the house.
Beauty Wolf –
Poor product. When the door is set to only in or only out, my cat can easily open it. The edge pieces of felt quickly fall off.
Meris Sacha –
This is the third cat door we have purchased (we have moved to a new house), and it is also the worst so far. The installation is relatively simple (similar to other brands), but the functionality is poor. I must check the lock multiple times a day, otherwise my cat will get stuck in the basement and/or on the first floor. The lightest brush with claws can cause the door to lock, rendering it unusable. Fortunately, we did not use it as an outdoor entrance, otherwise we would have to replace it immediately.
Madeline Ken –
Even without a template, it is easy to install. It looks good, the animals immediately use it without any problems.
Awe-Inspiring Lionel –
We found that this cat door is easy to install on our outer porch door. Training our two adult cats is also easy, and within a few days, they can use the door in both directions without any help. Our main goal is to eliminate skunks and other wild animals from entering our porch to obtain cat food that we occasionally miss. This cat door immediately succeeded in achieving this goal. Our boys can enter and exit freely, and there are no more wild animals on the porch< The only drawback of this product is that in less than a week, one of the weather strips fell off. In a few weeks, when the cold weather struck, the second weather strip came off. In addition, adding it is a great feature that allows our cats to easily get rid of bad weather and keep wild animals out.
Millicent Virginia –
A great product that is easy to install for cats to use directly.
Lovely Sloane –
There was an issue after a few weeks of installation. The gasket around the door to prevent air from entering began to fall off and got stuck. My cat can’t get in, he still hasn’t spoken to me. Do you do these for the front door that my wife uses?
Luciana Geneva –
I hope they can provide some kind of sleeve for wall installation.
Anthea Flourishing –
We use it on the indoor door of the basement and need to install a very large cat door for our big cat. After installation, we found that the magnet and locking function were unnecessary and made it difficult for cats to push open the door, so they wouldn’t pass through it. I had a janitor install this door, so he just popped out the lock and magnet. If it were, now it would easily swing and the cat would pass through it.
Millicent Tess –
This little cat door helps us keep the basement door closed and keep the cool air upstairs during the summer.
Stanley Pierce –
The accompanying instructions are useless. Remove the magnet from the door until the small animal understands how to use it, and then reinstall it. I used a stronger magnet to pull it out.
Fresh Bella –
The size was perfect, but the label that locked the “door” slid loosely, locking the door and causing our cat to be trapped in the garage several times. In addition, the door cover is stuck at the bottom; Will not create smooth “swaying” back and forth< Therefore, since we cut the door into a certain size, we removed the "lock" label and now sealed the door with tape, allowing cats to enter and exit freely. This is a very hot season in Florida, and unfortunately, our door has been cut off, so we cannot return it.
Myrtle Neville –
I bought it, but had to wait for the door to arrive, so I didn’t know there was a gap on one side of the door where my cat went out. Living in Vermont is not helpful at all, cold air has come in. I am very disappointed because it looks great at the door.
Reginald Wesley –
The quality of this door is very good, and the effect is very good.
Melvina Honor –
I am satisfied with the appearance of this door. Simple integration took very little time. Unfortunately, the brush seal around the flip door is too easy to fall off, which may pose a suffocating danger to our rescue efforts, and its weather resistance is also poor. Fortunately, I found this piece and used it for the inner door before anyone swallowed it. I am looking forward to a more sturdy item! But the door effect is very good!
Elliott Sherman –
The weather strip quickly fell off. I ordered another one that has remained better together so far.
Quenby Agnes –
The door is too heavy, it should be a rubber cover. I also have a little cat who can’t push the door. I bought the wrong one
Edana Leo –
It is easy to install and operates well. I put it in my garage and it looks and looks great. It is not completely airtight. In a cold climate, your house may not be very good
Ferguson Nathania –
The door is installed well and working properly. If it includes a wider wall gasket, a standard 4-inch wall, that would be great. Two plastic wall covers cannot be used as they do not pass through a 4-inch wall. I used it in two adjacent buildings, so you can’t see it. I really won’t buy it again, but I think it would be even better if you use it on thinner walls.
Louis Lois –
If it comes with a template and screws for a metal door, that would be great.
Haley Blythe –
So far, I have purchased two of them, one for indoor use and one for outdoor use. So far, they have been running well and the lock or unlock function is also great.
Eddie Halsey –
The size is perfect and the product is sturdy, but my cat doesn’t like how difficult it is to get in, so I removed the lock part, which made it easier for the door to swing. Now they use it, but it goes against the purpose of having a lock.
Egan Annette –
I have a fat cat (23 pounds) and 6 brand new kittens, all of which are fine and suitable for throwing or sliding doors to close when not in use. Great purchase!
Darrel Lorelei –
A simple passage for cats to enter the mud room
Tatum Emrick –
The locking function on this is almost immediately interrupted, making it difficult to remember which is one-way or two-way, and so on. The skin flap fell off approximately 2 months later. The company sent us a new one without asking any questions, and I think it’s amazing customer service! Sigh Then the new one was also interrupted for a few months. So now we must move a basket back and forth to block it and maintain the weather. Super annoying. I won’t buy this again.
Herdsman Sybil –
When you cut a hole, the size between the front and rear openings is different. You must also track yourself. They need a prefabricated template. Cats walk through locks and they move. They can be locked inside or outside. I’ll pop them out.
Paulette Prosperous –
Arrived broken Twice (both are the same parts! Trying to repair it yourself, not very lucky. This door is difficult to enter and exit. Poor design, defective parts, save money!
Frasier Roxanne –
My cat’s paw got stuck in the flap, so I had to break the cat door to remove the flap. Now it’s just a hole in the door, which is good because I just hope they can freely enter my office with the door closed, but if they like to play with things or hesitate to go through the flip, please be careful not to get your cat stuck. When we were not at home, I was too worried about this situation, so I just closed the flip.
Kurt Farrah –
Cats like doors and immediately start using them. I don’t need a lock yet, but it works as described in my door swing test.
Blessed Melvina –
I want to simply resolve negative reviews. Based on my experience installing it, I am just a DIY person. I am not always good at getting things done right the first time. As for the door lock not working perfectly or the door not always opening and closing perfectly, you must ensure that you cut your hole large enough to make these two parts perfectly fit together. If you have to force it into your hole after it is cut open, it may become trapped or the locking function may not function perfectly. After I solved all these problems, it worked very well.
Melvin Relic –
This door is very suitable for what we need. The only problem is that our little cat encountered some trouble when pushing the door open due to a magnet. I removed the magnet, but it still closed perfectly without too much cold air escaping. She seems to like it more now.
Conqueror Melody –
Easy to install, aesthetically pleasing in appearance, running well, and providing excellent value for money. Fast and efficient delivery.
Rosalie Strange –
The kitten box is now in the garage instead of the house. I like cat doors.
Laverna Kara –
Put it in the stealing door, the effect is very good
Wealthy Theodora –
I installed it in the garage, my little cat likes it!
Melissa Forest –
I turned it upside down and used it as the lock for my chicken coop. It perfectly aligns with my intention. It is very easy to install.
Margot Kirstyn –
Our cat is very satisfied with his door. He comes and goes freely. Reduce our burden and keep him in and out
Dora Jessica –
You can spend a lot of money on the cat door. This is done very well, much less. My cat didn’t spend time learning how to use it and kept moving in and out. My windshield has peeled off, so strong winds can blow it away. Besides, I will repurchase or recommend it.
Bernadette Earl –
This door is very easy to install, much easier than the other cat door I purchased a few months ago. I completely installed this in 30 minutes and it looks great. However, with the lock placed at the bottom, my cat was able to figure out how to unlock it on the first day. They are just scratching at the bottom of the door, trying to get out, they can open it. Placing the lock on the side would be a better design, but overall it’s not a problem for me as I have a second door that can keep them in the basement area.
Jennifer Udele –
A well crafted and quite affordable multi entry option animal gate. The direction is simple, but the paper template used to trace on the door you want to cut will be a real reward. My cat is still learning that they can pass through their new openings because my basement door is always closed now, and I noticed that the door often gets a bit stuck when it swings. Perhaps it only needs to loosen the plastic fur on the edge of the door? Overall, this is a great purchase!
Wenda Oliver –
It is installed on the door between our laundry room and garage, so we can put the trash can in the garage. Our 17 pound cat can easily pass through it, and after pushing him a few times, he has mastered the flaps. Our second cat needs more work, but he used it very well within 3 days. We did encounter a problem where the flaps did not fully swing. It will get stuck at the bottom of the frame. My husband used a Dremel tool to shave off the bottom of the frame so that the flaps could swing freely. The lock is not very useful, but it’s not a problem for us because it won’t go outside the house.
Barbara Quincy –
The cat door is fine, it doesn’t allow a lot of cold air to come in, but the soft sticker next to the door has come off. The cat has only been using it for a month, and the screws are also easy to loosen. Overall, I will request replacement because some components have come off and I haven’t used them for that long. It’s only one month, but my return/replacement window has closed, so it’s very likely that I only bought a new one in the end because the missing parts really can’t be reinstalled
Howard Erwin –
The larger hole opening makes it easier for adult cats to navigate.
Liza Brooke –
Over the years, I have installed several different styles of dog doors< CEESC cat doors are made of high-quality materials< Installation is quite easy, completely drill the corner rail/starter hole through the wall or door< My main issue with this cat door is weather protection felt. The felt is proud enough not to allow the door to reach its true closed position. The door either faces inward or outward, depending on whether the cat enters or exits< Although felt is the main issue, the strength of the magnet is not sufficient to achieve the center and closed position< I agree with some other critics that the door lock slide is not ideal< I will try different brands in the future.
Martina Marta –
We placed the cat door on the indoor door of the basement – super easy to install. Now, if I could let the cat pass through the flaps, I might really be able to use it!
Edward Kit –
I have multiple cats in a 3-car garage. They can freely enter and exit during the day, but due to predators, I hope they are not open to the public at night. The cat tore off the weather strip. The door must always be kept slightly open for cats to use. Maybe we already need to buy another one. It is difficult to install with a metal outer door. I have to close the door.
God-like Shirley –
I use it for my furry indoor cat. Powerful locking mechanism. I actually have to remove the side and magnet because my cat is a bit special and I don’t know how it works. But overall, it’s a great door!
Roger Darlene –
Good product quality and easy installation. I have a chihuahua, and when he wants it, he will go to the yard and enter without any problem.
Hall Winifred –
The production is cheap, the flip cannot be opened, and blue and red labels must pop up so that the flip can be opened, but it is still difficult to open.
Quintana Morton –
Easy to install. I haven’t tested the lock function yet. I installed it on a thin panel wall, so I had to make some adjustments, but it seems to work well for my wild duo.
Mavis Hal –
Our quite chubby cat can enter without any problem. Easy to install. At first, it was not easy to swing, so the blurry edges were removed, and then it worked normally
Exalted Rich –
I like doors. There aren’t so many cats, but she will learn quickly
Laurel Malcolm –
The size of this product is very suitable for my cat, but the door cannot swing freely. It is stuck and requires a lot of pressure to move it in the opposite direction.
Flower Sharp –
The delivery is as fast as usual, and the quality seems to be good enough. It may be a bit cheap, but it’s still good. I don’t care about these at all, but it’s already covered with cat fur and scratches, just like it’s been used before. It’s a bit disappointing.
Halbert Hannah –
My cat likes this. He freely enters and exits as he pleases
Handmaiden Noel –
This is very sturdy and has good sealing. The big window is very good, so my cat can see things on the other side. The lock is not done very well and is not easy to slide in any direction. However, when you place them in the locked position, they will actively lock and not slide out. Overall, it’s worth it.
Edeline Edward –
We have purchased indoor installation. It took an hour to complete, and the cat treated the door as a new toy.
Rolf Weary –
My cat accidentally locked itself outside and kept using this. Magnets do not work well, and sliding locks will move with claws. My cat peeled off the edge of the weather strip on the first day. When we are finally able to lock the door, try to unlock it.

These doors are worth extra money. They have great locks that allow cats to be placed where you put them or outside. We have used them inside, so I’m not sure how resistant they are to the weather, but my cat uses them every day. It’s not difficult to teach them how to use them. I like the magnet in the middle to prevent the door from swinging.

A year ago, I installed one of them and it finally began to disintegrate from the elements (in my opinion, it was reasonable for the price). I only ordered the second one because I knew I didn’t need to adjust the opening I had cut on the door and it might be replaced in the coming months. The biggest problem I encountered was locks, sometimes they just sit there as they should, and sometimes they slightly engage, so much so that I saw my cat head hitting the flip, trying to get in and out. I ended up popping out both the old door and this new door, even though I gave the new door a chance in case I received a defective set for the first time (no, the same thing). So regarding the price, I cannot complain about getting a good year’s worth of it. But once I replace my door, I will spend time finding a door that I know I can rely on to avoid trapping my cat in the cold/heat, or leaving him inside when he needs to go out. That’s it, keep moving forward, good luck to you.

I like the simplicity and functionality of the product. Easy to install, so far it is safe and easy for citizens to adapt to.

I used this cat door to let the cat into the basement where the litter box was located. Before that, I had to keep the door open. The locking mechanism is very suitable for everyone to pass through when I want to open the basement for cleaning and not let anyone out. The acrylic cat flap is very clear, so they can see who is on the other side, so they don’t hesitate to enter and exit it. It is easy to install and runs very well. We are all satisfied with this.

My cat will put its paw in, tear open the foam, try to pass through the locked door, make a loud noise, and after a few times it will fall off. I would rather see an opaque window. Besides, it works normally.
