The sound quality is undoubtedly superior to that of the TV’s speakers. However, when using an HDMI ARC connection, the soundbar often does not come on when the TV is turned on, requiring me to disconnect and re-plug it.

I will be returning it for a refund to my account balance (credit) and have the original packaging and the box it was shipped in. Everything is in good condition; I never hooked it up because it was too complicated for my simple mind. I have a return authorization code that I can drop off at the UPS Store near my location.

Customer service from offered me a full refund, but I changed my review because I really didn’t follow their instructions on how to have your TV settings to PCM and if you don’t you will probably get a bad buzzing sound. After their suggestion, the soundbar worked perfectly. It was simple to set up and works great.

It would get a five star rating if I could simply set it up, store the remote in a box, and use the TV remotes for everything, even volume.

Alright, so they’re not that much better than TV speakers. You have to use two remotes since you can’t utilize the HDMI ARC connector because Fire TV is utilizing it. According to other reviews, you can configure the fire remote to work, however doing so often changes the source. The price is just right to not even bother going back.

Update: Despite the malfunctioning system, customer service was excellent and a full refund was issued. The setup was simple, but the remote just mutes and adjusts volume; the other buttons have no use and simply mute. There is no way to change the “noise.”

I upgraded from Vizio’s awful speakers with these simple to install and work. The bass is just right for listening, and the speakers offer good sound that can be heard in a medium-sized to small room. However, if you’re looking for movie-theater quality, this is not the option for you.

I use my Sony TV for opera, and the audio output from the rear speakers is very poor for symphonic music or opera. I had to watch a quick YouTube video to figure out that my TV’s settings needed to be changed to SURROUND SOUND TYPE PCM, which is how I was able to get sound back. This seems like a very easy and cheap way to improve your audio quality.

Overall, I’m delighted with this product given it cost less than $50. The bass might sometimes drown out the treble depending on what you’re viewing, but overall, it’s a really great product for the price. It is far better than the built-in speakers on the TV, which is all I needed.

The preset options don’t help prevent a tinny or hollow sound, especially with dialog. found one for the same price that helps. Happy with the price and ease of setup, but lacks bass and treble control. Sound was very obviously from the bar below the TV and seemed off, was better when we put it behind.

It’s not bad for the price that it is, but I kind of want something with a little more bass and a fuller audio sound when hearing dialogue. I might return it, but I’ll see if I can get used to its quality. Nevertheless, I would recommend it for anyone on a tight budget who doesn’t need anything too fancy. The subwoofer doesn’t have a lot of bass.

Was a bit apprehensive about buying this soundbar. Fortunately, I made the right choice in buying it. This 65-inch TV that I have in my den area sounds great! I’m going to get more for my living room and bedroom. I think the sound quality is really decent. Overall, not bad for the price, albeit the bass may be improved.
