Plan to open the box within 1 hour and read the instructions. 90 minute installation, 30 minute testing and familiarization with the system. I am already considering using more sensors to expand the system. I like cameras with audio and video, as well as privacy shutter. Highly recommended.

I downloaded the application and set it up using my phone. The camera was a bit clumsy, but in the end everything was fine. When I tried to install the application on my wife’s phone, a problem occurred< The system does not provide a simple method to create a second account, which will allow access to various functions. In theory, you can log in on multiple devices, but then encounter multifactor authentication and the solution becomes complex< In the end, none of these methods make sense to me. The setup is very simple. Add door sensors and motion sensors in just a few minutes. The base station can easily know what you have activated and respond with the name you have chosen for the device. I have also received the doorbell, but it has not been installed yet< I compared it with Ring and was asked by Ring to turn off the current Wi Fi in order to use their Wi Fi comments. Ring uses cellular network signals for call monitoring. It can also work on my current WIFI for communication between devices< Before the monitoring begins, it provides you with 3 days to test and use the system. I am not sure if I will use a monitor because I have a camera that will remind me, and my city charges $176 to register the monitor< Overall, I am satisfied with the SimpliSafe system and will recommend it.

The entire system has malfunctioned. Poor camera compression makes video streams almost useless. Due to low battery power at 4am, the sensor will turn off. When you really need a camera, they will never work. The doorbell ringtone will never work. Delay in entering sensor prompt sound. Cameras are low-quality constructions and unpredictable features. Customer support is not helpful and will not be upgraded when asked. If each of you has to replace the base station, you must start from scratch 100%. This includes any custom pins, all minute settings, even if it doesn’t work properly. I can’t believe how terrible this system is, and it has always been. In the years I have served, there has been no significant improvement.

SimpliSafe claims that if your Wi Fi stops working, the base station will automatically communicate on the cellular network. This is not true. I have a vacation home that is not covered when Wi Fi is not available. They said that in the past four months, they have been sending substitutes and creating a label for the third time, but no substitutes have been sent. There is a hard wired Caddx system in my old house. I have never complained for more than 10 years. With Simplisafe, you can be alone. Many “sensor unresponsive” errors will eventually clear themselves. Today, I was troubled by the error of “detecting wireless interference” and shouted at me< After reading customer service requests for non-existent solutions, I decided to unplug the base station and remove the battery overnight< If you buy these things, be prepared for constant interruptions. Please do not purchase! We have been using Simplisafe for over 5 years. Our company has experienced two intrusion incidents within 18 months, one through a glass window and the other through a glass door. Both glass breakage sensors were located 5 feet away from the breakage site and were not activated. We have the widest range of systems that you can purchase through Simplisafe, including surveillance and camera recording. The system is installed correctly and regularly maintained. During the rest period, the alarm never sounded. The camera did indeed record the intrusion process, so later we watched the records of our product being stolen. There was no help afterwards< Then I spent several hours communicating with customer service about the issue, and apart from returning the system to them, there was no solution. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

When it was on the sales shelf @ Costco, it issued a red flag. We just need a sense of security at home. It has been proven that this is a nightmare. We have set up the system and everything seems to be fine. A few months later, our home camera stopped working. We didn’t complain, we just let nature take its course. Until multiple times a day, we constantly receive messages on our phones indicating that the system has lost WiFi, and it will recover in a few minutes. We go through this cycle multiple times a day. We know that our bank card will expire soon. So we decided not to update it, just cut off contact with them. In hindsight, this may not be the best idea, but we don’t have to deal with the hassle of trying to retain our sales promotion. Today I checked my bank account and found that they have been charging my card for some reason in the past few months. So I called SimpliSafe and informed them that their archived card has expired, and they are still charging my card. I am not sure about the name of the first representative I spoke to, but I let her know that I was very frustrated when I entered the phone because they found a way to still deduct money from my card. She transferred me to the cancellation call, and I had a conversation with Christie. She led the call, and you won’t be angry and shout at me, otherwise I will disconnect the phone. As an upgrade, cancellation, or customer service, this is not something she should lead. This is a direct trigger factor, so let’s go around and discuss why I didn’t raise my voice. I have never raised my voice with her, but rather argued. However, she hung up the phone. I called back to talk to Alex, and he sent me to Pamela. She told me that they sent an email on February 19th, saying they wanted to update my payment method. Our account was overdue on February 25th. But since our card expired on January 22nd in February, we have been charged a fee every month. The excuse is that the bank allows it to happen, it is automated, and so is email. It’s confusing that they know the card has expired but still charge us.

They basically told me that they couldn’t send me a new camera because I purchased it through . I don’t want to return the entire system, so I claim the camera is lost and will eventually be upgraded to another internal camera. Linking the camera to the system is not the simplest way for you to use the camera to read the QR code on your phone. No matter what they try to do to help me, I seem unable to make the system read any code on my phone. I hope they can come up with a better system for the stars, because I like this system, I like the self-monitoring option, but I cannot tolerate the fact that the camera included in the kit cannot be connected.

I obtained this system from the Simplisafe website. I have been trying to solve the wifi problem I am currently facing. The base station continuously disconnects from WiFi 5 to 6 times a day. Yesterday, during their high-tech support, I talked to Adam and he told me that the person in the upgrade department would call me between 8am and 9am the next day, but this never happened. When contacting customer support again, I was informed that the upgrade department may take 4-5 days to reply to me – is this a joke? Do you need 3-5 days for your company to respond to me regarding security issues?!! I think solving the problem itself requires extra time. Just wow< In addition, the accents of their support personnel are difficult to understand, and they are even less likely to transfer to their supervisors – just like I really plead with them to do so. In fact, this is an inert object – beneficial for physically occupying space, but not much else. And it seems that Simplisafe doesn't want to interact with customers. I suggest looking elsewhere – at least in terms of customer relationship management, there must be better options.

For several years, I have been letting Simple Safe build its own system, which is the original 2G model. Now, upgrading the Verizon cellular link to 4G is not working in my home area, and trying to obtain an ATT replacement base station has always been a nightmare. I spent no less than 6 hours on the phone trying to send the correct base station as a replacement for the original 2G base station that no longer works. SimpleSafe has sent me three incorrect base stations as substitutes. When I couldn’t make them work, I had to call for help. Over an hour later, they tried to make the system work over the phone, and they tested why OPPS is a Verizon system when I specifically requested anything other than the Verizon system. There are known methods to check the base station to determine which cellular system it is, so I have to repeat the CSR nightmare multiple times. The nightmare is still ongoing

Before I was hacked, I was only safe for a few years and realized that this could not be a security company. My motion sensor was triggered, and it took them 13 minutes to call and notify me. Then they called the police, and they actually appeared quickly, 7 minutes later. Therefore, intruders have 20 minutes to obtain what they can and leave. I have called this company 8 times, but customer service cannot answer why it takes 13 minutes to reach me since the motion sensor tripped. They always say that the supervisor will call me back. I sent them two emails asking why it took 13 minutes to call me after the motion sensor tripped. I haven’t received a reply to the email or phone yet, they just ignored me. I am not rude or loud when communicating with them on the phone or email. I think this is fraud, they are allowed to sell monitored security systems, and intruders can even watch half of a sitcom before calling you.

I like this system. It is very easy to install and runs well. This is a great entry-level kit, but I spent a few hundred dollars to purchase additional sensors, including smoke, temperature, carbon monoxide, and water. Cellular backup is a great feature, so if you lose WiFi or Internet services, the system can still communicate with the dispatch center. One drawback is that if you do lose WiFi, many times the base station will behave as if it doesn’t have WiFi until you pass through and reselect the network and enter thepassword in the application< They will make a call within approximately 10 seconds, and if you or your backup contact does not answer, they will quickly send it. Someone tripped over one of my smoke detectors while polishing in my basement, and I missed the call. The fire department arrived at our house in about 4 minutes. Let me have confidence in SimpliSafe and our fire department< You may need an alarm system license like mine, but simplife will tell you where to get it. I must pay a one-time fee of $25 to my city in order to obtain the license< When I was not at home, a motion sensor in the kitchen tripped twice, and I am not sure why. Simplisafe called me and I saw through the camera that nothing happened, so I asked them to cancel the schedule. I lowered the sensitivity of the motion detector and haven't encountered any problems since then< I like it to tell you whether one of your windows or doors is open when you deploy the security system. Using temperature sensors, I know the temperature of my home and basement in case the heating goes out or something else. The water sensor reminds me that there is a leak in the basement. I have placed a sensor on the safe so that if it is opened when the system disarms, it will send me a silent alarm. You can have any sensor notify you of movement or entry when the system is deployed or disarmed< I have two emergency buttons, one set to dispatch police and one set to dispatch medical personnel. You can also mute the emergency button, which will not trigger the alarm, but will dispatch police without confirming the call< You can set a distress PIN so that if someone forces you to enter a code, you can enter the distress PIN, which will disarm the system and trigger an alarm< The base station has backup batteries. I replaced the battery in the base with an Eneloop battery to extend its lifespan in the event of a power outage. It can also notify you when a power outage occurs, so that you know when it will occur when you are not at home< I use Eneloop batteries in my keyboard and additional alarms, and replace them with newly charged batteries every 6 months or so. I believe they can last longer< I screwed most of the sensors into place to ensure they wouldn't fall off, but if you're using a tape, make sure to clean the surface with at least 70% isopropanol and let it dry thoroughly before sticking the sensor. Also, make sure to push the sensor onto anything you want to stick for about 45 seconds to ensure it adheres properly< I got the keychain, but I didn't connect it to my key. Just make sure your wireless network is running WPA2 encryption< All wall mounted sensors are very lightweight and can actually be installed with a quickly removable 3M adhesive strip, even for larger motion sensors. The setup is very fast and simple. There are no issues with loading applications, connecting the dock to my home WiFi, pairing with alarms, or adding sensors. There are no encryption dogs that need to be deployed/disarmed, but it is easy to load the application onto each family member's phone. One of the sensor installation issues I encountered was that the motion sensor was not adjusted. Other brands have a rotatable base, but these bases can be placed flat on the wall or installed at a 45 degree angle. You must be creative in your position, otherwise they will not be able to protect the coverage area well. The indoor IP camera in the kit actually works too well. The sound is too loud, you often hear the buzzing of motors or fans in the house. However, when someone actually walks in, it will hear the sound clearly. Night vision is also quite good. This application is very easy to set up and runs reliably anywhere I am, even across the entire state. The ability to add outdoor IP cameras is great, the control panel has a sense of quality, the screen is easy to read, and the lighting effect at night is very good. After an hour of waiting, the dish was transferred and the dropped item was pulled back in, causing the stew and pot to start burning, triggering a fire alarm. It wasn’t until then that we finally woke up and gave up SimpliSafe, calling the locksmith to break into our house. The top floor of the house was blackened by smoke. We finally managed to clean up the mess and smell. We have made multiple phone calls and sent emails to SimpliSafe, requesting an investigation and holding them responsible for defective products and services. However, until today, no one has been able to tell us what happened and will not refund us. Do you want to use a door lock system where you never know when it will shut you down and lock you out? In addition, do you want to entrust your family and life to a company that is unable to train night shift teams during customer service working hours, or if the customer cannot immediately help unlock the lock in the middle of the night, please call the locksmith immediately? I have chosen this special system for the accompanying camera. All devices are based on mobile phones, except for Internet based cameras. The camera is very cheap, there is no advertising micro SD slot, and the Internet signal will be disconnected 2 minutes after the camera starts.
